Yes... this is me!
My Philosophy
I believe the art of capturing images whether still photographs, or motion video, is truly a gift from God. Looking through the lens at the world that God created allows me to see the beauty of His creation and capture moments in time how I see them, to reflect His beautiful creation forever. Through this medium I am able to translate God’s art (His creation) into my own. It is my continuing mission to strive to be the best at representing His creation in creative and innovative ways through the arts of photography and cinema.

My Story - Photography
Senior Portrait in Grand Rapids, MI I first began taking pictures back in 1997 when a college friend ask me to take some pictures of him and his girlfriend. I soon found myself on more and more photo shoots over the next few months. As the word traveled, I began to build not only my skills as a photographer, but also a small collection of professional photography tools. My camera bag was always funded by the photo shoots I was doing, which I felt always benefited not only myself but the client as well.
Engagement shoot on the cliffs of San Francisco, Ca
After 6 years of shooting I found myself overwhelmed with requests to do weddings, so I decided to take my photography hobby and turn it into a business. In January 2003 I started Coastline Photography to better suit the needs of my clients' requests, and to further my experience in this venue.

My Story – Videography & Film Making
My interest in film and video started at the age of 8 when I found myself shooting more home videos than my dad did on all our family vacations. Having grown up with a video camera in the home, I naturally found myself being creative with it Video shoot on location in Athens, Greece and experimenting throughout my youth. During my senior year, my high school offered a video class. I enrolled and was elected as the Director of the schools first ever Video Yearbook. In addition to my responsibilities as Director, I also played a key role in starting a now very large video department at Valley Christian High School in San Jose, Ca.

About the same time I was getting into photography, I also began filming weddings as a side job in 1996. Over the next 7 years I videotaped numerous weddings, and the number of wedding videography requests grow each year.

More recently I attended Compass Arts Academy and developed my filmmaking and video production skills. I have since begun to create short independent films, and hope to someday find success in the independent film festival circuit.
